Nepal is a paradise for birds lovers and ornithologists with over 848 species (8% of the world total) of birds. And among them almost 500 species are found in the Kathmandu valley alone. The most popular bird watching spots in Kathmandu are Phulchoki, Godavari, Nagarjun, Bagmati River, Taudaha and so on. Get your binocular and look forward to a rewarding
experience. The best time for bird watching is March and December.

Itinerary
 

DAY 01:
When you arrive in Kathmandu, you'll be taken to your hotel. While in Kathmandu you will have time fascinating Buddhist and Hindu temples and shrines reflecting ancient local traditions are highlighted on our guided tour. There's time to explore the city's many charms on your own too. In the evening delicious traditional Nepali well come dinner await for you. O/N in Kathmandu.

DAY 02:
After breakfast, we'll visit Swayambhunath temple, and said to be 2000 years stupa on a hillock offers breath-taking view of Kathmandu City. We will then processed to Visit Pasupatinath and Bouddhanath. After lunch we'll visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan (Lalitpur) - which is the oldest of the three major cities in Kathmandu Valley - famous for its Buddhist monuments and Hindu temples, and you can catch the traditional artisans working with wood, stones and metals. O/N in Kathmandu.

DAY 03:
Full day bird & butterfly watching in Phulchowki (2759m), & Godavari Royal Botanical Garden.

DAY 04:

Overland drive & arrive Chitwan national park.we do have some acctivities today in chitwan. Upon arrival, lunch will be served, rooms assigned and there will be a short briefing on the program and our facilities.
5 :00 PM: Tharu Culture tour which will give you lots of idea about Tharu people who are the native in Chitwan.
7:00 PM: Dinner in the central dining hall. After dinner one of our jungle experts will introduce background data and history of the Royal Chitwan National Park as well as some other topics relating to wildlife. Your questions are most welcome.

DAY 05:
Full day safari activities in Chitwan such as elephant ride, jungle walk, Canoe ride.

5:30 AM: Wake-up call followed by tea or coffee, then proceed on a Nature Walk for Bird watching. This encounter on foot with the environment will introduce the main features of eastern Chitwan. Sal forest, open grassland and riverine jungle. Our guides will help you identify some species of birds, plants and other wildlife that you may encounter.
8:30 AM: Breakfast
9:30 AM: Elephant ride programme: Learn more about these fascinating animals during a visit to our elephant stables.(For the brave ones there is even a crash course in riding and leading the elephants). This one will also be a bird watching from AElephant.
1.00 PM: Lunch Remaining hours before the afternoon program: take a dip in the pool, or relax on your verandah. Hammocks and the library are at your disposal.
4:00 PM: Canoeing :A traditional dug-out canoe takes you on a silent trip down the Rapti river to view aquatic birds and the animals of the river banks.walk back to resort through the Jungle.It is known as a jungle walk which is one of the most exiting programe in Chitwan.
7:00 PM: Tharu Stick dance: Farmers of the nearby villages will show some of their traditional skills and dances.
8:00 PM: Dinner around the campfire

DAY 06:
Some activities in chitwan in the morning & drive to Koshitappu.

5.30 AM: Bird Watching after early morning tea/coffee.
8.00 AM: Breakfast
9.00 AM: Luggage down and departure at 9.30 AM. to Kathmandu

The actual program for your stay, will be given to you on arrival at Resort camp. The activities are adjusted to the length of your stay, the season and present weather conditions. Naturally, it may not always be possible to follow this schedule to the minute and the circumstances may force us to alter the program at short notice. On safari in the jungle you will be accompanied by expert naturalists who will advise on safety procedures and we request you to respect their judgement at all times. If you wish to stroll in the forest alone, a guide will have to accompany you for your safety.

DAY 07:
Wildlife activities provided by the camp which include jungle safari, nature walk, bird watching, elephant ride, providing opportunities to see many species of Birds, other wild animals.6.30 a.m. Breakfast7.30 a.m. Full day excursion on boat and four wheels drive pack lunch to see waders,Waterfowls, birds of prey, marsh crocodile, otters, wild water buffalo and gangeticDolphins including a visit to Pink Tower (full day).6.30 p.m. Cultural dance followed by barbecue dinner.Day 36.30 a.m. Breakfast7.30 a.m. Proceed to deciduous forest neat Chatara on four wheel drives to see racquet-tailed drongo, golden backed woodpeckers, pied hornbills, leaf birds, red-thighed falconet etceteras with pack lunch (full day)7.oo p.m. Chinese dinner

DAY 08:
One more day for relaxing and look around the village. You can also do some jungle activities if required.

DAY 09:
After breakfast, We drive to Chitwan because we can't make to kathmandu in 1 day which will take 11 hour to get to Chitwan from Janakpur.

DAY 10:
Drive from Chitwan to the Bardia National Park.Arive at the evening.3.00 p.m - Village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village where you will learn more about the life and lifestyle of the Tharus.
8.00 p.m.- Dinner

DAY 11:
Full activities in Royal Bardia National Park

5.30 am - Wake Up Call followed by tea/coffee.
6:00 am - Bird Watching
7.00 am - Breakfast.
7.30 am - Elephant Safari. An excellent opportunity to see Asian Elephant, Great One Horn Rhinoceros, Spotted Deer or Chital, Hog Deer, Barking Deer, Samber, Swamp Deer or Barasingha, Nilgai or Bull, Black Buck, Wild Boar, Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopard, Wild Dog, Golden Jackal, Striped Hyena. You will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Bardia their home.
1.00 p.m. - Lunch
3.00 p.m. - Jungle walk. An excellent opportunity to see the wild animals, small mammals, birds and waits in the Tower to have the wild sightseeing, accompanied by our experienced naturalists and wild life tracker. Excellent photographic opportunities are plentiful.
7.00 p.m. - Tharu cultural dance.
8.00 p.m. - Dinner

DAY 12:
5.30 am - Wake Up Call followed by tea/coffee.
6.00 am - Bird watching.
7.30 am - Breakfast.
12.00 p.m. - Lunch. After having lunch relaxing.
7.00 p.m. - Tharu cultural dance.
8.00 p.m - Dinner.

Royal Bardia National Park, situated in the mid-far Western region, is the largest and most unspoiled wilderness area in the Terai, covering an area of 968 sq.km. The park, a sub-tropical jungle, is thickly forested by sal trees and carpeted with grass, savannah and riverine vegetation. The north is bordered by the Churia hill range, the west by the Karnali river, while the Babai river cuts its course almost through the middle of the park. On the southern fringe of the park are the villages of the unique and indigenous Tharu people of Western Nepal. Considered as one of the most picturesque national parks in Asia, it teems with rich and diverse flora and fauna.
The park is home to more than 30 different mammals, including the langur and rhesus monkeys, civets, hyenas, wild dogs, sloth bears, otters, blue bulls, deer and wild boars. It is a regenerated habitat for endangered animals like the tiger, rhinoceros, wild elephant ( the park harbours the biggest wild tusker in Asia) and black buck, Gharial and marsh mugger crocodiles the great game fish-masher and the Gangetic dolphin cavort in the river waters. The unique birds which number over 350 species include cormorants, egret, storks, geese, jungle fowls, king-fishers and endangered species such as the Bengal florican, silver-eared mesia and the saurus crane thus making the park truly a bird watchers paradise.

Within the park are several open grasslands (plants) where game viewing is excellent. Many of the forest tracks throughout the park also offer excellent game viewing. And when you can take in the sights and sounds of the wild without necessarily having to give up on your creature comforts, what more could you ask for…?

DAY 13:
5.30 am - Wake Up Call followed by tea/coffee.
6.00 am - Bird watching.
7.30 am - Breakfast
8.30 am - Jeep driving into the jungle.
12.00 am - Lunch.
1.00 am - Departure for your onward journey.

DAY 14:
Rest day in Kathmandu

DAY 15:
