Lumbini
is now being developed under the Master Plan of Lumbini Development
Trust, a non-governmental organization dedicated to the restoration
of Lumbini and its development as a pilgrimage site. Kapilvastu
which is near Lumbini, evokes the ancient Palace where Lord Buddha
spent his formative years. Scattered foundations of the palace are
abundant, and archeologists have by now discovered 13 successive
layers of human habitation dating back to the eight century BC.
It also offers cultural insights into the village life of southern
Nepal.
DAY
01:
When you arrive in Kathmandu, you'll be taken to your hotel. While
in Kathmandu you will have time fascinating Buddhist and Hindu temples
and shrines reflecting ancient local traditions are highlighted
on our guided tour. There's time to explore the city's many charms
on your own too. In the evening delicious traditional Nepali well
come dinner await for you. O/N in Kathmandu.
DAY 02:
After breakfast, we'll visit Swayambhunath temple, and
said to be 2000 years stupa on a hillock offers breath-taking view
of Kathmandu City. We will then processed to Visit Pasupatinath
and Bouddhanath. After lunch we'll visit Kathmandu Durbar Square,
Patan (Lalitpur) - which is the oldest of the three major cities
in Kathmandu Valley - famous for its Buddhist monuments and Hindu
temples, and you can catch the traditional artisans working with
wood, stones and metals. O/N in Kathmandu. O/N in KTM.

DAY 03:
Drive to Charaudi by tourist bus.After we get off from the bus we
will start to be get ready for the rafting trip. at the mean while
one of our staff prepare our lunch. After lunch we start our river
trip. We will do rafting for about 4 hour and reach at the camp
for noght stay.
DAY 04:
we wake up in the morning and have breakfast, then we start for
Rafting
for another half day. After finished the Rafting trip we
drive to Chitwan
Overland drive & arrive Chitwan national park.we do have some
acctivities today in chitwan. Upon arrival, lunch will be served,
rooms assigned and there will be a short briefing on the program
and our facilities.
5 :00 PM: Tharu Culture tour which will give you lots of idea about
Tharu people who are the native in Chitwan.
7:00 PM: Dinner in the central dining hall. After dinner one of
our jungle experts will introduce background data and history of
the Royal Chitwan National Park as well as some other topics relating
to wildlife. Your questions are most welcome.
DAY
05:
Full day safari activities in Chitwan such as elephant ride, jungle
walk, Canoe ride.

AM: Wake-up call followed by tea or coffee, then proceed on a Nature
Walk. This encounter on foot with the environment will introduce
the main features of eastern Chitwan. Sal forest, open grassland
and riverine jungle. Our guides will help you identify some species
of birds, plants and other wildlife that you may encounter.
8:30 AM: Breakfast
9:30 AM: Elephant ride programme: Learn more about these fascinating
animals during a visit to our elephant stables.(For the brave ones
there is even a crash course in riding and leading the elephants)
1.00 PM: Lunch Remaining hours before the afternoon program: take
a dip in the pool, or relax on your verandah. Hammocks and the library
are at your disposal.
4:00 PM: Canoeing :A traditional dug-out canoe takes you on a silent
trip down the Rapti river to view aquatic birds and the animals
of the river banks.walk back to resort through the Jungle.It is
known as a jungle walk which is one of the most exiting programe
in Chitwan.
7:00 PM: Tharu Stick dance: Farmers of the nearby villages will
show some of their traditional skills and dances.
8:00 PM: Dinner around the campfire

The
actual program for your stay, will be given to you on arrival at
Resort camp. The activities are adjusted to the length of your stay,
the season and present weather conditions. Naturally, it may not
always be possible to follow this schedule to the minute and the
circumstances may force us to alter the program at short notice.
On safari in the jungle you will be accompanied by expert naturalists
who will advise on safety procedures and we request you to respect
their judgement at all times. If you wish to stroll in the forest
alone, a guide will have to accompany you for your safety.
After Chitwan's acctivities we travel overland from
Kathmandu to the Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, where has
been revered as the place of holy pilgrimage. Lumbini has been included
as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO - if the time permits, we take
you to visit Manakamana Temple, believed as the wish fulfilling
goddess by cable car.
Upon arrival Lumbini, we transfer you to the hotel, check-in and
then we go walking through the Sacred Lumbini Garden where the Buddha
was born converges on the Ashoka pillar, visit the Maya Devi Temple
with its bas-relief sculpture depicting Maya Devi holding on with
her right hand to a branch of pipal tree and giving birth to the
infant Buddha who stand up on a lotus pedestal.
DAY
07:
After breakfast, we begin the trip by driving away, 27km
west of Lumbini; visit the important archaeological site, Tilaurkot,
the ancient palace of King Suddodha (Siddhartha Gautam's father),
where the Buddha spent his formative years as a Shakya Prince. Allow
yourself for a moment to wander around and soak the atmosphere.
There's a museum nearby, The Kapilvastu Museum; the pottery, jewelry
and ornaments are gathered in-house. End up the remarkable tour
in Tilaurkot by visiting the shrines, monasteries and stupa near
the sacred garden.

08:
After breakfast, we leave Lumbini by road and back to Kathmandu.

After breakfast, you're free before airport drop for your
final departure.
