Kaligandaki & Chitwan-12 Days
The Kali Gandaki begins it's journey high on the Tibetan plateau in the kingdom of Mustang. Plunging down through the Himalayas, the river carves the deepest gorge in the world between Dhaulagiri and Annapurna, both 8000m peaks. The Kali Gandaki was first opened to commercial use in 1991.When not negotiating the multitude of big volume rapids, time on the river can be spent enjoying the backdrop of the Annapurna ranges and cascading waterfalls. Both experienced and novice rafters will love this short trip which is ideal for those who wish to visit Pokhara.

Itinerary
 

DAY 01:
When you arrive in Kathmandu, you'll be taken to your hotel. While in Kathmandu you will have time fascinating Buddhist and Hindu temples and shrines reflecting ancient local traditions are highlighted on our guided tour. There's time to explore the city's many charms on your own too. In the evening delicious traditional Nepali well come dinner await for you. O/N in Kathmandu.

DAY 02:
After breakfast, we'll visit Swayambhunath temple, and said to be 2000 years stupa on a hillock offers breath-taking view of Kathmandu City. We will then processed to Visit Pasupatinath and Bouddhanath. After lunch we'll visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan (Lalitpur) - which is the oldest of the three major cities in Kathmandu Valley - famous for its Buddhist monuments and Hindu temples, and you can catch the traditional artisans working with wood, stones and metals. O/N in Kathmandu. O/N in KTM.

DAY 03:
Drive to Pokhara by tourist bus.Overnight in Pokhara Hotel

DAY 04:

7. 30 am meet at our Sales Office - store extra luggage. Breakfast, (not included). Drive Beni 3 hours. Unload gear eat lunch and load rafts. Safety briefing - depart. After a brief warm we encounter 2 big class 4 rapids "little Brother" and "Big Brother". After scouting the rapid’s safety kayaks will descend followed by the rafts. The confluence of the Modi Khola marks arrival at the evening campsite. Unload rafts one team prepares dinner whilst the others relax, take in the scenery or play volleyball.

DAY 05:
Plenty of adrenaline and spectacular scenery. Views of Annapurnna 1 and Himachuli are interspersed with continuous class III sections of river, culminating with the challenging class IV rapids, "Refund" and "Tombstone". Lush vegetation and spectacular waterfalls cascade down cliff faces and lead us to camp at the village of Purti Ghat.

DAY 06:
Upon reaching the holy village of Seti Beni team members have the opportunity to take photo’s of the Kali Gandaki’s biggest rapids and this sacred Hindu temple. Not long after this the journey comes to an end. Bus to Pokhara.

DAY 07:
Free day at Pokhara
for us to have some rest.

DAY 08:
Overland drive & arrive Chitwan national park.we do have some acctivities today in chitwan. Upon arrival, lunch will be served, rooms assigned and there will be a short briefing on the program and our facilities.
4:00 PM: Tharu Culture tour which will give you lots of idea about Tharu people who are the native in Chitwan.
7:00 PM: Dinner in the central dining hall. After dinner one of our jungle experts will introduce background data and history of the Royal Chitwan National Park as well as some other topics relating to wildlife. Your questions are most welcome.

DAY 09:
Full day safari activities in Chitwan such as elephant ride, jungle walk, Canoe ride.

5:30 AM: Wake-up call followed by tea or coffee, then proceed on a Nature Walk. This encounter on foot with the environment will introduce the main features of eastern Chitwan. Sal forest, open grassland and riverine jungle. Our guides will help you identify some species of birds, plants and other wildlife that you may encounter.
8:30 AM: Breakfast
9:30 AM: Elephant ride programme: Learn more about these fascinating animals during a visit to our elephant stables.(For the brave ones there is even a crash course in riding and leading the elephants)
1.00 PM: Lunch Remaining hours before the afternoon program: take a dip in the pool, or relax on your verandah. Hammocks and the library are at your disposal.
4:00 PM: Canoeing :A traditional dug-out canoe takes you on a silent trip down the Rapti river to view aquatic birds and the animals of the river banks.walk back to resort through the Jungle.It is known as a jungle walk which is one of the most exiting programe in Chitwan.
7:00 PM: Tharu Stick dance: Farmers of the nearby villages will show some of their traditional skills and dances.
8:00 PM: Dinner around the campfire

DAY 10:
Some activities in chitwan in the morning & drive to Kathmandu.

5.30 AM: Bird Watching after early morning tea/coffee.
8.00 AM: Breakfast
9.00 AM: Luggage down and departure at 9.30 AM. to Kathmandu

The actual program for your stay, will be given to you on arrival at Resort camp. The activities are adjusted to the length of your stay, the season and present weather conditions. Naturally, it may not always be possible to follow this schedule to the minute and the circumstances may force us to alter the program at short notice. On safari in the jungle you will be accompanied by expert naturalists who will advise on safety procedures and we request you to respect their judgement at all times. If you wish to stroll in the forest alone, a guide will have to accompany you for your safety.

DAY 11:
Rest day in Kathmandu

DAY 12:
