It gained its name because Prince Charles trekked here. This is an easy short trek that offers good mountain views, ridge walking, forests, rice fields and different cast villages

Itinerary
 

DAY 01:
When you arrive in Kathmandu, you'll be taken to your hotel. While in Kathmandu you will have time to explore the city's many charms on your own. In the evening delicious traditional Nepali well come dinner await for you. O/N in Kathmandu.

DAY 02:
After breakfast, we'll visit Swayambhunath temple, and said to be 2000 years stupa on a hillock offers breath-taking view of Kathmandu City. We will then processed to Visit Pasupatinath and Bouddhanath. After lunch we'll visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan (Lalitpur) - which is the oldest of the three major cities in Kathmandu Valley - famous for its Buddhist monuments and Hindu temples, and you can catch the traditional artisans working with wood, stones and metals. O/N in Kathmandu. O/N in KTM.

DAY 03:
You have breakfast being of the early morning before 7:00 AM. This morning you will be drive to Pokhara (200km), depart 7:00 AM in the morning, approximately 7hrs away by tourist bus. Lunch spot one the way to Pokhara. You will be arrive late afternoon at Pokhara approximately 2:00 O’clock. Pokhara lakeside villages sits, "front row centre" to one of the most beautiful Himalayan panoramas in the world. The Annapurna and famous "Fishtail" mountain peak of Machapuchhare tower over the tropical setting of Pokhara and you spend there will be the scenic highlight of your trip. You're free in Pokhara Valley also called "Magic Land" or Dreamland" of Nepal, to explore the various interesting place as your own like boating in Fewa lake over looking the region of Annapurna range of Himalayas. In the evening you will prepare yourself for your trek to Poon Hill. O/N stay in Pokhara

DAY 04:
After breakfast, drive to Vijayapur Khola, start trek from there. We walk about an hour through the flat rice fields and cross the river. If you are doing this trek in the summer the river may be difficult to cross if it is flooded. After crossing the river the trail starts to ascend to Kalikasthan. Lunch will be served at the middle of the climb. Arrive Kalikasthan and camp at the top of the grassy land. O/N in Camping in Kalikasthan.

DAY 05:
After breakfast start walking through the villages. We walk on the ridge of the mountain with good views of Annapurna and Lamjung Himal. O/N camping in Syaglung.


DAY 06:
Walk through the Gurung Village, rhododendron and Sal forest. Half way through the walk there is a 400 metre descent and 600 metre ascent to arrive at Chisopani. This is the best point to see the Himalayan Panorama. You will see Dhaulagiri to the west of Annapurna. O/N in camping in Chisapani.

DAY 07:
FWe walk half way down hill to Rupatal and climb about 200 metres to arrive at Sundare danda and walk 15 minutes down to Begnas Tal for an hours boating to catch the transfer to Pokhara. O/N in Pokhara.

DAY 08:
After breakfast drive to rafting site (Trisuli River for White water Rafting) It takes approximately 2 hrs drive from KATHMANDU. This River is popular as access to the Prithivi Highway makes "breaking off" the journey easy. Trisuli River is also an ideal beginner's River. Lunch we'll be served after 3/4 hrs rafting in the riverside. After lunch, drive to Chitwan National Park upon arrival, rooms assigned and there will be a short briefing on the program and our facilities.
5 :00 PM: Tharu Culture tour which will give you lots of idea about Tharu people who are the native in Chitwan.
7:00 PM: Dinner in the central dining hall. After dinner one of our jungle experts will introduce background data and history of the Royal Chitwan National Park as well as some other topics relating to wildlife. Your questions are most welcome.

DAY 09:
Full day safari activities in Chitwan such as elephant ride, jungle walk, Canoe ride.

5:30 AM: Wake-up call followed by tea or coffee, then proceed on a Nature Walk. This encounter on foot with the environment will introduce the main features of eastern Chitwan. Sal forest, open grassland and riverine jungle. Our guides will help you identify some species of birds, plants and other wildlife that you may encounter.
8:30 AM: Breakfast
9:30 AM: Elephant ride programme: Learn more about these fascinating animals during a visit to our elephant stables.(For the brave ones there is even a crash course in riding and leading the elephants)
1.00 PM: Lunch Remaining hours before the afternoon program: take a dip in the pool, or relax on your verandah. Hammocks and the library are at your disposal.
4:00 PM: Canoeing :A traditional dug-out canoe takes you on a silent trip down the Rapti river to view aquatic birds and the animals of the river banks.walk back to resort through the Jungle.It is known as a jungle walk which is one of the most exiting programe in Chitwan.
7:00 PM: Tharu Stick dance: Farmers of the nearby villages will show some of their traditional skills and dances.
8:00 PM: Dinner around the campfire

DAY 10:
Some activities in chitwan in the morning & drive to Kathmandu.

5.30 AM: Bird Watching after early morning tea/coffee.
8.00 AM: Breakfast
9.00 AM: Luggage down and departure at 9.30 AM. to Kathmandu

The actual program for your stay, will be given to you on arrival at Resort camp. The activities are adjusted to the length of your stay, the season and present weather conditions. Naturally, it may not always be possible to follow this schedule to the minute and the circumstances may force us to alter the program at short notice. On safari in the jungle you will be accompanied by expert naturalists who will advise on safety procedures and we request you to respect their judgement at all times. If you wish to stroll in the forest alone, a guide will have to accompany you for your safety.
